Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) is the first step in the process of admission to the
TWO YEAR FULL TIME Postgraduate Degree Programmes in Management offered by the IITs. Currently IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee offer Programmes in Management.
JMET is only a qualifying examination. Candidates have to apply separately to the Institutes of their choice. They are also advised to look up the admission details provided in the respective websites of the participating Institutes. There is no limit to the number of programmes a candidate can apply to, so long as he or she meets the eligibility criteria.
Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) 2011 Result Published
A total of 5451 candidates qualified in the prestigious Joint Management Entrance Test
(JMET 2011) with Vernon Desouza from Bangalore Zone topping the test. The results are announced on 3 January 2011. The qualified candidates will be eligible to seek admission into the post-graduate management programmes in IITs and IISc Bangalore. A total of 26,035 candidates had appeared in JMET 2011 held on December 12, 2010 organized by IIT Delhi in coordination with the six other IITs and IISc Bangalore.
